Brittany will stage all matches at the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup in France next year, it has been announced.

World football's governing body have confirmed matches at the tournament will be played in Concarneau, Dinan/Léhon, Saint-Malo and Vannes.

Games will be held at the Guy Piriou Stadium in Concarneau, the Clos Gastel Stadium in Léhon, the Marville Stadium in Saint-Malo and the Rabine Stadium in Vannes.

The tournament is due to be held from August 7 to 26.

It will be the first time France has hosted the biennial event.

"I’m delighted that France is organising the FIFA under-20 Women’s World Cup, in which our girls finished as runners-up at the last edition in Papua New Guinea in 2016," French Football Federation President Noël Le Graët said.

"And that just shows our full commitment to women’s football. 

"The four host cities have demonstrated that they have all the elements needed to put on this event in the very best conditions and in a region that is so passionate about football.” 

France were awarded the event by the FIFA Executive Committee, which has since been rebranded as the Council, back in March 2015.

It came after they beat off competition from South Korea for the hosting rights for the tournament.

France finished second at the last edition of the Under-20 Women’s World Cup, held in Papua New Guinea in 2016.

North Korea claimed their second title after they overcame France 3-1 in the final of the event.
