French athletes emerged triumphant in several events on day two of the Festival of Extreme Sports (FISE) World Series event in Montpellier today.

Zac Callaert and Anthony Ogier made it a France one-two in the roller freestyle event with points totals of 90.00 and 87.00 respectively.

Latvia's Grasmanis Valters rounded off the podium with a score of 85.50.

The host nation had even more reason to celebrate in the men's wakeboard event after 31-year-old Pierre Charpenet emerged with the gold medal thanks to a score of 45.83.

Eric Gouzou made it a French top two with a score of 37.50 whilst Italy's Camilletti Daniele secured bronze thanks to a points total of 30.42.

The home nation also dominated the scooter freestyle competition and took all three positions on the podium.

Bonnier Marius took first prize with a score of 83.25 with Enzo Ibra just a couple of points behind in the silver medal position with a total of 80.75 points.

Jean LaForest completed the French domination thanks to his bronze medal-winning total of 79.00.

Action in Montpellier is set to conclude tomorrow (May 13).
