Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur is set to play host to the penultimate leg of the 2019 International Swimming Federation (FINA) Diving Grand Prix this weekend.

The three-day event, due to begin tomorrow, will take place at the National Aquatic Centre.

It will be the eighth meet of this year’s FINA Diving Grand Prix series and comes prior to the conclusion of the circuit in Singapore from November 22 to 24.

The first two finals, to be held tomorrow, will be those in the men’s three metres and women’s 10m events.

On Saturday (November 16), medals will be awarded in the men’s 10m synchronised, women’s 3m, men’s 3m synchronised and mixed 10m synchronised events.

Rounding off proceedings on Sunday (November 17) will be competition in the women’s 3m synchronised, mixed 3m synchronised, women’s 10m synchronised and men’s 10m.

The National Aquatic Centre was built for the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur.

In September, it staged the eighth edition of the Asian Diving Cup.
