American Nelly Korda and Canadian Brooke Henderson share the lead on 12-under-par heading into the final day of the ANA Inspiration tomorrow.

Korda topped the pile on her own after both of the first two days and enjoyed a two shot lead overnight at the Mission Hills Country Club in California.

She recorded her worst round so far on day three, however, shooting a one-under-par 71 following rounds of 66 and 67.

Her display included three dropped shots in the front nine and Henderson, who started the day six shots adrift, took advantage with a seven-under-par 65.

Both players are now two shots ahead of the rest of the field.

The Canadian is looking for her second major title after winning the Women's PGA Championship in 2016, while Korda is hoping to win one of the big tournaments for the first time.

"I wanted to get a solid round out there and try to climb the leaderboard as much as possible," said Henderson, who hit six birdies, an eagle and a bogey.

"Still a lot of golf to be played, but nice to see my name up there.

"And hopefully tomorrow I can post a similar round.''

There is a three-way tie behind the two leaders with Australia's Katherine Kirk, South Korea's Mimi Lee and American Lexi Thompson all on 10-under.

Thompson won the ANA Inspiration in 2014 and, like Henderson, is bidding for a second major crown.

The tournament is being held in a bubble and without fans due to the coronavirus outbreak.

South Korea's defending champion and world number one Ko Jin-young has chosen not to defend her title.
