The Edgar Renteria Stadium in Barranquilla will host one of the two groups, the Super Round and medal games. Cartagena's Once de Noviembre Stadium will host the other group and the placement round.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced the groups for the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2024, to be held in Colombia from 16-25 August. 

-World No. 1 Japan, No. 9 Dominican Republic, No. 12 Puerto Rico, No. 13 Colombia, No. 14 Italy and No. 33 Guam will compete in Group A. 

-No. 2 Mexico, No. 5 Chinese Taipei, No. 6 Venezuela, No. 7 Netherlands, No. 20 Nicaragua and No. 34 South Africa will play in Group B.



In accordance with the WBSC standard formula, the groups are based on the seeding from the 2022 edition (eight out of 12 teams participated: Chinese Taipei, Japan, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Guam and South Africa) and the WBSC/KONAMI World Ranking of national teams not participating in the 2022 edition (Netherlands, Dominican Republic, Italy and Nicaragua). 

The Edgar Renteria Stadium in Barranquilla will host one of the groups, the Super Round and medal games. The stadium is named after the former Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star shortstop and two-time World Series champion, nicknamed 'The Barranquilla Boy'. The stadium was the main venue for the 2018 WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup.



The Once de Noviembre stadium in Cartagena de Indias will host the other group and placement round. The venue is dedicated to the day in 1811 when the province of Cartagena gained independence from Spain.

Since 1989, there have been 19 editions of the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup, the last of which was won by the United States in 2022.
