The 2024 edition of the World Taekwondo President's Cup - Europe was held in Tallinn, Estonia on 26-28 April. The adult division had some star names among the participants.

The men's -80kg division featured two Olympic medallists - Tokyo 2020 runner-up Saleh Al-Sharabaty from Jordan and Seif Eissa from Egypt. Both reached the final in Tallinn and Al-Sharabaty won the contest to take gold. 

2022 World Champion Carlos Sansores won the gold medal in the men's +87kg category, while 2023 European Games runner-up Jack Woolley of Ireland won the men's -58kg event.

Croatia's Leon Glasnovic was the best in the men's +68 kg category, defeating one of the world's top-ranked Zaid Al Halawani (Jordan) in the final, while 2022 World Champion Liang Yushuai took the bronze medal.

The other four men's winners were Hristiyan Georgiev of Bulgaria (54 kg), Hao Zhang of China (63 kg), Lin Kovacic of Slovenia (74 kg) and Motaz Ifaoui of Tunisia (87 kg).

The Chinese women's team included 2019 World Champion Zhang Mengyu (67 kg), 2022 World Champion Luo Zongshi (62 kg), one of the world leaders Xiao Shunan (73 kg) and 2023 World bronze medallist Xiaolu Wang (53 kg). Mengyu, Luo and Wang went home with gold medals while Xiao took bronze. Mengyu defeated reigning world runner-up Caroline Santos of Brazil in the final, while Wang was stronger than Tokyo 2020 bronze medallist Avishag Semberg (Israel)

China claimed two more gold medals in the women's competition. Zeqi Zhou was the best in the +73kg category, while Junli Yang topped the podium in the +57kg category.

Two-time world champion Lena Stojkovic of Croatia was the best in the 49 kg category. Ruka Okamoto of Japan took gold in the +46kg category and Tania Castineira of Spain won the +73kg event.

Prior to the competition, the European Taekwondo Union Council Meeting took place at the Nordic Hotel Forum in Tallinn. A total of 33 esteemed council members representing various European nations graced the event with their presence.
