Torch_Relay_official_song_launch_Olympic_Stadium_June_30_2011July 8 - Tinchy Stryder and Dionne Bromfield have recorded "Spinnin' For 2012," the first song to be released in association with the London Olympic Games, and it received an official preview on Sky News this week.

It will be the soundtrack to the Olympic Flame's journey across the UK, which will take in some 8,000 miles in total.

The record was written and recorded originally by Speech Debelle, but reworked to create inspirational lyrics aiming to bring to life the relay.

Stryder is a chart topping artist who is also involved in the fashion industry, whilst Bromfield first came onto the scene as a 13-year-old and now presents "Friday Download" on CBBC.

The song goes on sale from July 25.

The Olympic Torch Relay is due to go from Land's End on May 19 2012 before making its way across the United Kingdom and to the Olympic Stadium in London on July 27 for the opening ceremony of the Games.

"It's such an honour to be a part of our countries Olympic story and I'm also thrilled to be working with Tinchy Stryder," said Bromfield.
