63802-1206-Ray 7colorDecember 20 - Ray Leonard Junior, the son of the boxing legend and Olympic gold medallist Sugar Ray Leonard, has joined Ludus Tours, the official hospitality provider to 18 national governing bodies, as vice-president of Sales.

Leonard Jr's own company, Leonard Sports Management, helped manage the careers several high-profile clients such as Sugar Ray Leonard, Edwin Moses, Gary Sheffield, Michael Devereaux, Gary Trent and Sugar Shane Mosley.

"This was an exciting career move for me where I was able to use my knowledge and experience and tie that into a great organisation I believe in," said Leonard Jr of joining Ludus.

"What we're doing at the grass roots level for a wide variety of Olympic sports is not only very important to me personally, but at the same time we get to be pioneers in our industry."

The Ludus Managing Director, Adam Dailey, admitted to being optimistic about Leonard Jr's recruitment.

"Having someone with Ray's leadership experience is going to fill a void in our organisation immediately," he said.

"We're happy to be able to have someone with the heart, people skills and drive that Ray brings to the table."
