Harry Brokking, the team's Dutch coach, named Pipes after reducing his squad from a total of 27 players, most of whom were based throughout Europe; only one squad member, reserve Jim Miller, plays in the UK.

There was also a place for 40-year-old Jason Haldane (pictured) - who played in more than 300 matches for Team Canada before becoming a British citizen - following a year's absence.

The British team, which has qualified automatically through a host nation place, had to overcome serious funding cuts in 2009 that resulted in the squad having to disperse, with players finding clubs as far away as Sweden and Bulgaria.

After being absent from the squad for two years, Danny Weemes makes a return to the team after a successful season in Sweden representing Hylte.

Oli Kimber, after graduating from the 2009-10 development squad, gets his maiden inclusion in the first team after an excellent two seasons with Langhenkel in Holland.
