Canoe-slalom fears being pushed to the Rio 2016 margins

Plans by Rio 2016 to move the canoe slalom from the Deodoro zone to a location 700 miles away have angered the International Canoe FederationSeptember 6 - The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Athletes' Commission is expected to head to Brazil next week to discuss the Rio 2016 canoe slalom venue, in the wake of the disclosure that consideration is being given to moving the competition to a course 700 miles away.
