Summer McIntosh, a "force of nature" heading for Olympics

Canadian prodigy Summer McIntosh, expected to be one of the stars of the Paris Olympics, has already made her mark in swimming, and nobody in her family or entourage is surprised. The 17-year-old swimmer is already a four-time gold medallist at the World Championships —in the 200m butterfly and 400m medley in 2022 in Budapest and in 2023 in Fukuoka.

Ross Edgley completes world’s longest non-stop river swim

Endurance athlete Ross Edgley has announced he has completed a record-breaking continuous river swim: completing 510km without stopping, sleeping or touching land for over 62 hours in the freezing waters of the Yukon River in Canada. Edgely began the challenge in Whitehorse on Lake Laberge on Sunday 16th June, and finished in Dawson City on 19th June.
