Sixteen teams have been confirmed for the Men's World Floorball Championship after the Asia-Oceania qualifiers were cancelled due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

Competition was due to take place in Thailand's capital Bangkok between March 2 and 8, with seven teams involved.

After the outbreak of coronavirus forced the cancellation of the event, the top four teams in the rankings qualified for the World Championship, scheduled for December 4 to 12 in Finnish capital Helsinki.

These teams - Australia, Thailand, Singapore and Japan - have now confirmed they are able to participate.

Canada and the United States also join the line-up, with both teams given an automatic place due to the World Championship acting as a qualifier for the 2021 World Games in Alabama.

The 16 teams will be divided into four groups using a ballot draw, scheduled to take place on March 10.
