Results and qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games have been announced from the US Athletics Trials. Sha'Carri Richardson and Noah Lylesstood out in the 100 metres, while Heath Baldwin led in the decathlon.


In Eugene, Oregon, the exciting Track and Field Trials are underway to determine the United States' representatives at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

From 21 to 30 June, athletes from the most recent Olympic Games will compete for a place at the world's premier sporting event.

Sha'Carri Richardson excelled in the women's 100 metres with a time of 10.71 seconds, securing her place in the Olympic team alongside Melissa Jefferson (10.80) and TeeTee Terry (10.89), who will also be competing at the 33rd Olympic Games.

Over the same distance, but in the men's category, Noah Lyles triumphedwith a time of 9.83 seconds and will represent the United States at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Lyles clocked an impressive 9.83 seconds. Kenny Bednarek was second with a time of 9.87 seconds, while Fred Kerley completed the podium with a time of 9.88 seconds, also securing a place on the Olympic team for the world's leading sporting power.

In the men's 10,000 metres, Grant Fisher, Woody Kincaid and Nico Young secured their places in the Olympic team. Fisher led the race with a time of 27:49.47, closely followed by Kincaid in 27:50.74. Young completed the trio of qualifiers with a time of 27:52.40.

In the decathlon, Heath Baldwin led the way with a total of 8,625 points, demonstrating his superiority in this challenging event and outperforming the likes of Zach Ziemek and Harrison Williams, who finished with 8,516 and 8,384 points respectively to qualify for Paris 2024.
