Brazil and Saudi Arabia won the girls' and boys' 4x100 metres relay titles at the International School Sport Federation (ISF) U15 Gymnasiade 2023 here.

Beatriz Camargo Monteiro Silva, Larissa Schon de Morais, Lara Francioli Garofo Alves, and Ana Karoliny Murback helped the hosts to victory among girls with a timing of 49.47sec.

Chile and Estonia earned silver and bronze, respectively.

Valentina Callejas Rovira, Ema Diaz Ferrando, Laura Sagredo Perez, and Leonor Ferreiro Hurtado finished second in 50.38 for the silver medal.

Estonia had Mia Eleanora Nurmela, Laura Tõemets, Allika Inkeri Moser, and  Felicia Viitkin to thank after clocking 50.93 for bronze.

Saudi Arabians Mubarak Alyami, Abdullah Aliarian, Abdulrahman Mohammed, and  Meshhal Hazazi took the boys' 4x100m relay gold in 43.44.

Manuel Guzman Garcia De La Hue, Alonso Gusman, Clemente Franken Zaldivar, and Martin Astaburuaga Coddou won silver for Chile in 44.59 before Moroccans Adam Asad,Anouar Laassakri, Saad Jraif, and Moussa Banour secured bronze on 46.01.

Chinese Taipei had a great day as the girls won both triple jump and javelin golds.

Pin-Hsun Chu threw 55.67 metres for the gold medal in javelin with Valentina Ossa Salinas of Chile way behind her in 36.56m for silver.

Bronze medallist Alejandra Ruiz Rojas of Mexico also could not match Pin, securing the medal with an effort of 32.49.

Pin’s compatriot Shih-Han Huang took the triple jump title with a leap of 12.62 metres.

Denitsa Uzunova of Bulgaria was the second best with 11.03m while bonze was claimed by Mariana Ovalle Valdes of Chile, who jumped 10.88m.
